Blue Ocean Ibiza

Beyond life on land, the island hides a treasure for those who love sailing: a spectacular coastline, with pristine beaches, coves with crystal clear waters and places that can only be reached by boat.

Sailing in Ibiza is a unique experience that will allow you to discover the most beautiful corners of the island, from the mysterious islet of Es Vedrà to the lively bay of San Antonio.

In this blog, we recommend 3 wonderful beaches and 3 coves in Ibiza to go with your boat. Enjoy the ride!

Popular beaches in Ibiza

Although all are worth a visit (or more than one), today we recommend 3 of our favourites to form unforgettable memories in our calm waters.

Cala Conta

cala conta

This is one of the most famous and visited beaches in Ibiza, with turquoise and crystal clear waters which contrast with the fine white sand.

From here you can enjoy stunning views of the islet of Conejera and the islets of Poniente.

In addition, it has several restaurants and bars on the beach, where you can taste delicious dishes of the local gastronomy while enjoying the sea breeze. There are also various water activities available, such as parasailing and jet skiing.

A safe option to make your first visit.

Playa d'en Bossa

This is the longest beach in Ibiza, with more than 2 kilometres in length, crystal clear waters and fine white sand.

It is a very lively and busy beach, ideal to enjoy a day at the beach with friends or family. In addition, it has a wide variety of bars, restaurants and nightclubs on the beach to enjoy the gastronomy and the Ibizan atmosphere.

There are also several water activities available, such as flyboarding and paddle surfing.

Endless entertainment and atmosphere!

Cala Bassa

cala bassa

A beach of considerable size, with shallow crystal clear waters and white sand surrounded by pine trees and rocks.

It is ideal for relaxing, sunbathing and enjoying a refreshing bath.

In addition, it has several restaurants and bars on the beach where you can enjoy local cuisine and refreshing drinks while overlooking the sea. There are also various water activities available, such as kayaking and paddle surfing.

coves in Ibiza to go to by boat

The most paradisiacal locations are not always easily accessible by land, so we give you 3 ideal coves to go with your boat.

Cala Saladeta

This is a cove located on the west coast of the island, with crystal clear waters and a white sandy beach surrounded by cliffs.

It is small and little frequented, ideal to enjoy the tranquillity and natural beauty. Arriving by boat is a good option, as access on foot from Cala Salada beach can be complicated.

It has a picnic area if you want to put your feet on solid ground!

Cala Tarida

cala tarida

This is a cove of white sand and crystal clear waters located on the west coast of the island.

It's one of the most popular beaches in Ibiza, but getting there by car can be tricky due to the lack of parking. Therefore, it is a good option to arrive by boat and enjoy the tranquillity offered by the beach. In addition, from here you can enjoy stunning views of the sea and the coast.

Stay to enjoy the amazing sunset at the end of the day; you won't regret it.

Cala Boix

This is a cove located on the northeast coast of the island, with crystal clear waters and a black sand beach.

It is a quiet and little frequented beach, ideal to escape the hustle and bustle of the busiest beaches and try the diving in Ibiza. Getting there on a charter yacht is a good option, since the access road is narrow and can be complicated to navigate.

Here you will find some of the best places to try the authentic Ibizan gastronomy. Don't miss them!
