UNLICENSED VESSELS
If you don't have a sailing licence, there are boat rental companies that offer boats that are less than 5 metres in length and of low power. These can only be driven during the day, and the driver must be of legal age.

NAVIGATION LICENCE OR CERTIFICATE

RECREATIONAL CRAFT SKIPPER (PER)
This qualification is one of the best known after the titulín and is the queen of sailing licences, especially for those with a strong link to the marine world.
If you present your certification at any boat rental company, they will allow you to rent a boat no longer than 15 metres and you will be able to sail 12 nautical miles away from the coast.

In this category we refer to the Yacht Skipper and the Yacht Captain, with the entire catalogue of boats under 24 meters at your disposal.
These are not extremely common qualifications, as they are usually for professional sailors, but it is interesting to know of their existence and to point out that, if you have these permits, you can also sail the waters of the island.
