Whether it's your first time on the island or you are a repeat visitor, in today's article we are going to share with you some suggestions for your vacations in Ibiza. There are so many things to see and do on the island that we have tried to summarize the essentials.
We tell you everything you should not miss below:

You know the picture above, don't you? Few people who have decided to visit Ibiza these last two years have not posted in their respective timelines a photo in that place. This is what has been known in the press as "the most Instagrammable swing in Ibiza".
Beyond this modern conception of such a beautiful place, Cala Xarraca, in the small town of San Juan (north of Ibiza), is well worth a visit. What's more, the town itself is worth a visit on its own, it's idyllic!
Other places not to be missed to get to know Ibiza like a real Ibicenco are:
The promenade of Santa Eulària des Riu is ideal if you are traveling with your family. In the same place you can visit one of the quietest towns on the island, take a dip in the beach or choose from the wide variety of restaurants in the area.
And if you are not traveling with your family... ... that's fine too! Because a vacation in Ibiza without experiencing the contrast between quiet villages like this one and others with a livelier nightlife like San Antonio cannot be considered complete...
In addition to the walk you can see in the photo, from Blue Ocean Ibiza we also suggest you to go to:
Yes, we know... Dalt Vila (the walled complex of the island's capital) is in itself a monument, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, without going any further. But if you are not familiar with the columns in the picture above you have to visit this enclave in Ibiza: Cala Llentia.
There you will see this imposing monument, consisting of 13 basalt columns that exceed 20 meters in height. It is the work of Andrew Rodgers, his patron was Guy Laliberté (the founder of Cirque du Soleil) and during sunset the central column reflects the sun's rays giving you a unique stamp.
But the artistic heritage of Ibiza does not end there. Take note of these other monuments:
The practice of hiking in Ibiza is becoming more and more widespread among both residents and tourists. There is a good reason for this: the environments we enjoy on the island are simply breathtaking.
In addition to the benefits of active tourism activities, a walking tour will allow you to get to know Ibiza, its fauna, its flora, its history, ... from a very different perspective. And if you are a photography enthusiast, that's all there is to it...
You can hire a personalized excursion with a guide, or go into one of these routes yourself:
Approaching this impressive place with a sailboat like our Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 "Galatea" is an experience you will never forget.
The islet of Sa Foradada (in the image above) is one of the most beautiful natural sites of Ibiza, whether you discover it by sea or if you observe it from the coast (from Las Puertas del Cielo that we have mentioned in the previous section).
We highlight this place because it is a real delight for diving lovers. Its bottom is very rich in marine fauna and there you can see many of the best known species of fish in Ibiza (and others that are not so well known).
However, we can not forget either:
The icing on the cake, perfect for getting to know Ibiza from another perspective!
