Many lovers of the sea and the coast are looking forward to the arrival of good weather to escape to enjoy a well-deserved holiday on the beach.
Today we give you some ideas of where to go to enjoy your time off!
Spain has an incredible number of coastal towns, some more touristy than others, but all with their own unique charm.
Whether in the north, south, east or west, you won't regret visiting the tourist destinations we recommend.

With a typically Mediterranean landscape and less than two hours from Barcelona, you'll find these idyllic beaches on the Costa Brava.
The best thing is that within the area, you can choose from a variety of coves depending on what takes your fancy. Most of them are linked by coastal paths, so you can visit them while you take a pleasant stroll.
If you want to go further south, Malaga is a spectacular destination to enjoy your beach holiday: in addition to the coast, it has a rich architectural heritage, lots of atmosphere and also interesting cultural visits.
In this case we recommend visiting this set of beaches where you can choose to spend the day in the most touristy ones (with restaurants, water activities, etc.) or get away from the hustle and bustle and the crowds in a more hidden cove.
Different environments for all tastes!

Fancy a dip in the Cantabrian Sea? Then you should visit Ribadeo, considered one of the top 3 beach destinations in Spain by its online reputation.
The gastronomy and breathtaking views, with its rock formations drawing beautiful arches over the sea, make it a real dream for lovers of seaside holidays.
You'll also find a lighthouse, a viewpoint, a marina and even the castle of San Damiano.
Admittedly, the most popular beaches tend to be in the Canary or Balearic Islands, so they could not be missing from this list.
In general, they are very enjoyable destinations in themselves, but there are some that you can't miss...
This Natural Area of Special Interest is one of the most visited and impressive beaches in the whole country: its fine white sand and the pine forest that surrounds it make for an unforgettable landscape.
More than 5 km of sand await you, easily accessible thanks to the incredible infrastructure it is equipped with, and where you will also find hotels, restaurants, car hire and all kinds of activities to have a good time.

It doesn't matter when you visit Maspalomas Beach. It is simply breathtaking.
In contrast to all the destinations we've mentioned, this is a beach of dunes that will make you feel like you're in the middle of a desert, but with the advantages of having the sea right next to you.
Its extension is so vast that you can choose between enjoying the festive atmosphere closer to the lighthouse, or move away to disconnect.
This small cove hidden among the cliffs in the north of the island is difficult to access, but it is totally worth the effort.
It has been declared a Natural Area of Special Interest within what is known as Es Amunts, home to lush pine forests and huge, spectacular cliffs.
In the middle of this paradise is our beloved Cala Aubarca, one of the most secluded and isolated locations in Ibiza. The ideal place for a total disconnection, where all you have to do is enjoy the sea breeze.
We love holidays at sea! That's why we recommend that to enjoy yours, you always contact companies that comply with all safety measures and that have everything you need to enjoy your time like never before.
In Blue Ocean, we are your boat rental company in Ibiza of reference; we have more than 12 years of experience in the charter sector.
We hope this post will help you decide which place to visit this summer.
Happy travelling!
